Deputy Director of Client Services

Job Summary
The Deputy Director of Client Services will focus on major data initiatives and content efforts while managing and developing the Client Services team. This role bridges business development, data analysis, and account oversight to enhance audience targeting and campaign execution. They will report to our Director of Client Services.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop the Client Services team, including direct management of 4 Senior Account Managers and indirect management of 4 Account Managers and Account Coordinators.
- Oversee client relationships, workload, business development, and the general direction of the Client Services team.
- Serve as a senior support liaison between clients and the Client Services team, troubleshooting and resolving internal and external challenges.
- Distribute Client Services team tasks such as digital onboarding, data updates, and client data requests, ensuring seamless execution and delivery.
- Manage large-scale client project planning, coordinating cross-functional teams to meet deliverables.
- Optimize stored procedures and database infrastructure to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy.
- Streamline SQL, Tableau, and Power BI workflows, ensuring standardization across the Client Services team.
- Work closely with the MDM (Master Data Management) team to understand and communicate data initiatives to clients while translating client feedback into actionable insights.
- Support business development, assisting with client contract proposals and renewals.
- Support new product development based on client needs and industry trends.
- Ensure effective CRM utilization for client tracking and reporting.
- Develop case studies highlighting voter contact successes and data partnerships.
- Interface with the Marketing team to fill out a content calendar showcasing Data Trust’s products and data assets.
- Work early, late, or weekends during peak election seasons, as needed.
Skills
- Expertise in SQL (including stored procedures and database optimization).
- Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, and/or other data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with Python or R for advanced data manipulation is preferred.
- Strong team management and leadership experience, including direct reports.
- Excellent ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
- Customer-centric mindset to ensure smooth and efficient client experiences.
- Ability to communicate eloquently and professionally on behalf of Data Trust.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Google Sheets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in political science, data science, business, or a related field) is preferred.
- 3+ years of work experience in political data or campaigns.
- 2+ years of management work experience.
- Experience in audience segmentation and data analysis.
- Ability and willingness to travel occasionally.
