To whom it may concern, I am writing to express my interest in joining a rewarding career in conservative politics. With over 5 years of extensive experience in legislative and executive branch experience serving alongside great conservative leaders like Lieutenant Governor of Texas Dan Patrick and in my most recent two roles, serving for Texas Governor Greg Abbott, I am confident that I am the ideal candidate to be considered for joining the wonderful career path that is conservative politics. I have a proven track record of success in streamlining the legislative process and executive procedures that state government entails both in my previous capacity serving the State Legislature at the Texas State Senate and in my latest position working at the Governor’s Office. In my most recent role as a Production Assistant at The Office of The Governor, I have successfully managed multiple responsibilities and have developed an efficient work environment while professionally executing the duties of my role and agency division. I have created and maintained a smooth database and record-keeping processing of constituents, agency heads, as well as numerous state agencies that depend on my division’s valuable services. My most significant accomplishments include: ★ Successfully managing legislative documentation, administrative services operations for the Texas Legislature, including record-keeping, legislative aid duties, and exceptional customer service skills when interacting with constituents and elected officials. ★ Developing and implementing policies and procedures in mutual coordination with multiple other state agencies and legislative offices to effectively keep the legislative process functioning efficiently. ★ Streamlining legislative procedures and executive duties that help the agency division run smoothly and efficiently in meeting its vision and objectives. ★ Efficiently work in a team setting to seamlessly fulfill multiple arduous tasks that could extend into late hours of the day to keep the legislative process on schedule to successfully fulfill its constitutional duties and legislative priorities. ★ Coordinating with other state agencies, interdepartmental agency heads, and executive staff to ensure seamless operations and outstanding customer support. ★ Growing a stronger professional bond between the Office of The Sergeant of Arms of The Senate and the 32 Texas State Senators through close coordination between legislative staff and administrative staff in the Upper chamber of the Legislature. Additionally, in my most recent capacity, I have been responsible for managing Ceremonial Services requests, overseeing the executive duties trusted upon my division, maintaining a seamless relationship between executive and legislative offices, as well as a transparent method of communication with The Office of The Governor while providing exceptional customer service. I possess excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, and I am confident that I can bring the same level of excellence. I am familiar with various software and technology used in administrative roles, such as MS Office, CTS (Correspondence Tracking System) and just recently launched at the Office of The Governor, INDIGOV correspondence software powered by Zendesk, and I am comfortable learning new technology as needed.
