To Whom It May Concern, Please accept the attached resume in response to your posting for a full-time position, which I learned about through a job posting on your website. As a graduate of Furman University, with dual majors in Political Science & International Affairs and Economics, I bring both academic knowledge and hands-on experience in constituent services, political engagement, and leadership roles. During the past academic year, I had the privilege of interning for U.S. Senator Tim Scott in his Greenville, SC field office. In this role, I conducted research on government programs, drafting reports that informed the Senator’s Senior Staff on key developments in the northern part of the state. I also gained valuable experience in constituent services by managing stakeholder inquiries and representing the office during in-person meetings. These responsibilities helped me refine my professional communication skills and reinforced the importance of building respectful, productive relationships with the public. The respect I have gained from individuals through this position translated to my extracurriculars, where I was honored to serve as the President of one of the largest Greek organizations on Furman’s campus. In this leadership role, I guided a team of student leaders, assisted in achieving organizational goals, and collaborated with university administrators to enhance Greek life on campus. These experiences further developed my ability to work collaboratively, think strategically, and solve problems effectively, which are skills I am eager to apply in any position. I would welcome the opportunity to speak with you further about how my skills and experiences may be a match for any position. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you at your convenience. Sincerely, Benjamin Griffation 610-331-8864 bgriffaton2@gmail.com
