Before delving into my qualifications, I wanted to express that I am a lifelong Republican and a pro-life working mom in her early 20s. In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis and squash, skeet shooting with friends, spending time with my daughter, and reading Russian literature. I was born and raised in Washington, DC, which I suppose meets the definition of a swamp creature. Though ironically, I am actually a right-leaning, libertarian-minded individual with a crippling fear of alligators. Who knew that was possible for a DC native? ______________________________________________________________________ I am a policy, communications, and political campaign professional with experience in the U.S. House of Representatives, federal and state-level campaigns, and the private sector. As the Senior Public Affairs Manager for Brantley Davis Advertising Agency, I have extensive experience writing press releases, op-eds, and advertisement scripts on complex policies for issue advocacy groups such as Numbers USA. I frequently produce television advertisements, work with the press to book media slots, and coordinate the publication of clients' material across various news outlets. In my previous role as Legislative Correspondent for Congresswoman Lori Chavez-DeRemer (OR-05), I managed a policy portfolio containing four issue areas and the House Health and Human Services Subcommittee on Appropriations. I tracked legislation developments, coordinated co-sponsorships, wrote vote recommendations, drafted legislation proposals, attended committee briefings, and advised the member on these issues after meeting with stakeholders and constituent groups. My responsibilities also included responding to constituents’ policy concerns. Researching and tracking legislation to provide informative responses developed my proficiency in all issue areas. In nine months, I wrote and sent nearly 20,000 messages, decreasing the average response time by three days, proving I can quickly grasp complex policies and committee work. While serving as her Digital Assistant, I drafted press releases and the e-newsletter, created graphics using Adobe Creative Suites and Canva, tracked social media metrics, spearheaded engagement strategy, and emailed daily news clips to all three office locations, two of which were located in different timezones. Furthermore, as an intern on Glenn Youngkin's gubernatorial campaign, I vetted donors and event attendees using background check software, public databases, and social media. While completing fieldwork, I assisted in locating the opponent, organizing campaign rallies, making cold calls, and delivering signs. I would be honored to contribute my extensive political background to any Republican-affiliated group. My hardworking, creative demeanor excels in fast-paced environments, making me an asset to any operation. Thank you for reviewing my application. I look forward to hearing from you soon. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1VuuOYOd0l8iYWsS3fylDbmw0_QNkIwAB?usp=drive_link
