In the last 15 years, I’ve been a self-employed freelance writer/author and a product reviewer for Amazon.com. Most recently, I’ve self-published two nonfiction books. Prior to that, I held administrative assistant positions and worked in the feature film industry as an office production assistant, set production assistant, and background artist on several major films. I have always been interested in politics and have been a registered Republican since I became eligible to vote. During the most recent Republican primary, I was a grassroots volunteer for the DeSantis campaign, making thousands of phone calls to voters across Iowa. I really enjoyed my work with the campaign, and it inspired me to seek opportunities in the political field.
