I am an analytical and results-oriented academic professional with 15+ years of experience in management, administration, and research/policy analysis. I pride myself on offering strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and lead teams while promoting and developing research abilities. I am a results-driven leader with a proven record of success in streamlining and improving processes, enhancing productivity, and implementing realistic solutions. As an independent thinker, I am dedicated to elevating the drive, work ethic, and function of an organization. I use my strong leadership skills to professionally assess a situation, address the major issues, and make timely decisions to resolve the problem. Some of my demonstrated experience includes: ■ Preparing policy memoranda for senior-level officials at the WVHEPC and members of the West Virginia Legislature to inform policy decision-making on a variety of postsecondary topics using institutional, state-wide, and statewide longitudinal database data. ■ Coordinating a high-level large-scale grant submission with 2 other PIs, 1 nonprofit organization, and 2 community colleges, resulting in a $2.3 million grant submission to the Department of Education’s Institute for Education Sciences. ■ Leading efforts to redesign the West Virginia Post-High School Graduation Survey to gather information on the postsecondary plans and knowledge on a variety of topics, including financial aid, cost of college, and the student decision-making process.
