After completing high school, I was unsure of exactly what path I wanted to take in life. After working a few retail and service jobs, I decided to pursue an education in criminal justice and a career in law enforcement. I have thoroughly enjoyed my career in law enforcement thus far, and I am seeking an agency that will allow me to advance my career even further as I continue to gain experience and education. What follows is a simple and quick summary of my career and education. If you feel my experience and education warrant an interview, I would be happy to meet with you. I enrolled in the criminal justice program at York Technical College in Rock Hill, South Carolina, in 2010 and obtained my Associate’s Degree in 2014. In 2016, I was hired by the Anniston Police Department, where I worked for approximately two and a half years. While at the Anniston Police Department, I began pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in the criminal justice program at Faulkner University. Before graduating from Faulkner, I left the Anniston Police Department and began working at the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office. While working at the Sheriff’s Office, I graduated from Faulkner with a 3.6 GPA in 2019. In February 2021, I went to work for the Jacksonville Police Department for a year before returning to the Sheriff's Office and being promoted to Corporal, where I currently work in that capacity. During this time, I returned to Faulkner University and obtained my Master's Degree in Justice Administration. While I have enjoyed my time serving in law enforcement, the world of politics interests me far more. I recently started pursuing a Ph.D. in Public Policy at Liberty University due to this interest. I spend time during school learning and examining policy and politics as well as my free time. I would be honored for an opportunity to interview and start a career in politics.
