Eric A. Hill Education Professional (608) 704-6252 erichillusa@gmail.com www.linkedin.com/in/eric-hill-usa/ To whom it may concern, It's my pleasure to be applying for a position of employment with the Republican Party. I'm a University English Lecturer and former US Air Force Staff Sergeant currently living in Lakota, Iowa. My professional history began with eight years of experience in the United States Air Force as a Security Forces Member, which culminated in my promotion to the duty position of Flight Sergeant, in charge of day-to-day base defense and law enforcement operations. During this time, I earned both a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado and an Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice from the Community College of the Air Force. Following my honorable discharge from the Armed Forces, I taught professionally at multiple English language learning centers in Nanjing, China. During my career as a teacher, I drew on my years of previous instructional experience in the Air Force, along with my TEFL certification from ITTT, to teach classes of between one and fifty adult English language learners. My class topics revolved around both self-developed and institutional lesson plans appropriate to my students’ language levels, ranging from basic grammar and vocabulary-building exercises to more advanced themes such as history, science, mathematics and business. I have, since that time, taught both adult and young learners in Da Lat, Haiphong and Hanoi, Vietnam. From 2020 to 2021, I taught first and second grade public primary school students basic English vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation at Khuong Mai Primary School, and I now teach undergraduate students at FPT University in Hanoi. To date, I have taught over 4,000 hours worth of English classes. As a former Security Forces Flight Sergeant, I'm well-versed in executing the strategic objectives of upper-level leadership by disseminating timely information to various directorates and delegating tasks to qualified subordinates within my area of responsibility. In the course of my duties, I've crafted various briefings and after action reports detailing new training procedures from outside agencies, in support of internal training programs which I would then administer, personally, in the capacity of an on-shift instructor. I was primarily tasked with the day-to-day training, evaluation and management of a team of up to nine, armed military personnel - both in garrison and during field conditions - charged with base defense and law enforcement duties for Greeley Air National Guard Station. Throughout my career, I was rewarded with the opportunity to serve in a number of additional duty positions, including those of Internal and External Security Response Team Leader, Squadron Armorer, Base Defense Operations Center Controller, Alarm Systems Monitor, Physical Fitness Monitor and Base Honor Guard Member (for which I was awarded the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal). As a culmination of my experience with the U.S. Air Force, I successfully instilled and maintained the high degree of coordination necessary for my squad to earn the Air Force Space Command Inspector General's "Professional Team" award during our squadron’s 2012 Operational Readiness Inspection. This distinction was earned over the course of numerous, exhaustive and multifaceted emergency response scenarios conducted in a simulated wartime environment. Thank you, in advance, for your consideration. I look forward to hearing back from you. Respectfully yours, -Eric A. Hill
