Hello, I’m a self-starter, creative and detail-oriented. As a journalist around the country throughout my career, I’ve seen how leftist policies and leaders are taking America down the wrong path. I’m determined to help you and your team change that. As an on-camera storm chaser for the last two years with AccuWeather Network, I covered the onslaught of tornadoes, hurricanes, floods and snowstorms, and went into those disaster zones to tell the emotionally compelling survivor stories that come out of the frightening, traumatic events. For years as a journalist and Part 107-certified drone pilot, I have turned beautiful stories under intense time pressure, while using social media to spread messages. I would constantly find new story angles before, during and after storms, and during lulls in severe weather coverage, in order to keep viewers engaged and coming back. I will take that same stamina to your group. I am an expert at multitasking to meet deadlines. In just one day in the field, I would research stories, contact people through multiple platforms, schedule interviews, shoot video, write scripts, edit content and appear on camera, all while troubleshooting technology issues in austere environments. Storms are unpredictable, and with AccuWeather, I had to find ways to solve problems quickly to meet my live shot slots. Solutions are always possible with the right mindset. I’m no stranger to politics. As a previous correspondent in our nation’s capital for Gray Television, I was a direct liaison between 100 stations and hundreds of lawmakers, national figures, subject matter experts and community members. Many of our stations were in red states or in conservative regions. I’ve had a firsthand look at the workings of local, state and national government through my years as a reporter in major cities and smaller communities, and overseas on Saipan in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
