In my current role at a digital marketing and creative agency, I am the strategic lead on nearly all accounts, with clients ranging from trade associations, corporations, nonprofits, advocacy groups, and political candidates. The scope of work includes: crafting and deploying digital marketing campaigns; drafting content for education toolkits, legislative documents, and landing pages; providing in real-time optimizations to live campaigns; conducting website and digital communications audits; executing message testing and brand lift surveys; launching and managing websites; and producing branded creative assets, such as style and brand guides and video and podcast production. Prior, I worked at a public affairs firm in Washington, D.C. where I gained experience managing dozens of internal and external stakeholders. Our clients were primarily corporate and required that I build coalitions and strategic alliances with entities that had aligned policy positions, in an effort to apply the necessary political pressure on lawmakers. Additionally, my time in the media has allowed me to take complex issues and break them down so they’re easily understood by an often ill-informed electorate. I have provided media training for clients, developed scripts and storyboards, flown across the country to be an on-set creative director, and produced and edited audio and video for fundraising events, digital ad campaigns, podcasts, etc.
