My name is Margaret McAlindon and I am about to graduate from Samford University with a major in sport administration and a minor in political science. ] Throughout my college career I have been involved in vast areas of congress from state house to US senate. During covid I was able to work for Senator Cotton and worked consistently on tight deadlines with quality work. This showed me the importance of attention to detail and communication. While this was a great position, each opportunity I have enjoyed and have been able to sharpen skills. One of the skills I have learned is the ability to work with different types of people and work towards creating a solution. This has shaped me to a leader who cares and listens to others. Because of my involvement, I understand the importance of constituent services and how beneficial it is to effectively communicate. I am very driven and constantly work towards new solutions and ways to solve problems.
