I currently serve as the Broadcast Manager at Judicial Watch, managing the day-to-day operations of the Communications Department under the guidance of my CEO. Over the years, I developed a strong background in project management, public relations, media production, and storytelling that enabled me to elevate my organization’s brand in the conservative advocacy space. When I joined Judicial Watch in 2017, I was responsible for nearly every aspect of content creation and promotion, including video editing, filming, and graphic design. Within a few months, I significantly increased our overall online presence through a multi-pronged approach: executing organic cross-promotional strategies across our social media channels, implementing email marketing campaigns, and leveraging SEO techniques with social media algorithms to maximize content growth. Notably, I exceeded our YouTube channel’s KPI goals by growing our subscribers from 10,500 to 62,000 and gaining 4 million video views. I also consulted with social media platform representatives to capitalize on our existing material by repurposing long-form videos into short-form content optimized for various social media channels, resulting in increased audience engagement. As my department evolved, I was authorized to hire and supervise a production team, allowing me to focus on producing studio-quality educational panels and talk shows featuring high profile guests discussing Judicial Watch’s work, managing media appearances for staff members, and copyediting social media messaging. Eventually, my role expanded to include directing the production of both “evergreen” & “flagpole” explainer videos in collaboration with contractors explaining Judicial Watch’s litigation & accomplishments in ways the public could easily understand. In addition, I established business relationships with media providers such as Getty Images and Shutterstock to improve production quality, and I coordinated with advertising firms to amplify our social media presence with strategic paid ad campaigns.
