Dear Sir or Madam, I’ve recognized the challenges of the current time that our nation faces politically and I know that if I’m to have a hand in making things better, I need to begin where I can make the most difference, and I believe that is in the political future of our republic. Through my passion for strong leadership and judicious policy, I find no where else I can align my ambitions alongside the skills I have than with conservative initiatives that aim to uphold traditional American values. I seek out an opportunity where I can be challenged in a complex and demanding environment so that I may effectively demonstrate my abilities to manage programs, lead teams, support policy initiatives, and draw the public’s appeal to sound government strategies. I’m eager to apply not only what I learned through my years of experience in a public administration role, but also what I’ve learned as a observer of government through my drive as a lifetime scholar. Whether during my exposure to quasi-public programs like the Pickering Foreign Affairs Program at Howard University, or state policy like the BabySteps Savings Plan Program at the Massachusetts State Treasurer’s Office, I’ve gained considerable experience into the inner-workings of program policy, regulations, and the public’s perception of them. I stood as the touchpoint between the office and the public where I was able to demonstrate my communication abilities and further exercise my organization and analytical abilities in constant analysis thereof to breed innovation in achieving growth objectives. And while I seek to support the ideals of traditional American values, my professional exposure to government has led me to become extremely familiarized with progressivism and the style of liberalism in Massachusetts. This is an asset as I can understand the draw that progressive initiatives can stir up amongst the most vulnerable populations, yet I have the insights into the truth about the rhetoric, bureaucratic waste, and insincerity that can plague progressive politics. Having the experience of leveraging communications across the state of Massachusetts to foster support for policy grants me the ability to speak to those who want actual representative government that respects them as citizens, rather than regard them as subjects. My educational and professional employment experience provides me with the knowledge and drive to be successful in any complex public administration and people-focused programmatic support role, but I have also had brief experience with strictly political work. As a college student, I participated in local politics by canvassing in the rural central Mass. towns I grew up around for Republican Ryan Fattman’s successful state senate campaign in 2016. Since then I had not continued my involvement with canvassing but rather focused on roles where I can support policy delivery, which inevitably led me to work for Democratic State Treasurer Deborah Goldberg. However, after years of working at the policy operations level, I am looking to get back into where I may be most effective in creating change by working in political advocacy and campaigns. I’m eager to bring my experience and ambitions to a new frontier of employment where I can work towards my own personal goals for success and those of my fellow Americans. I know what leadership is and how to demonstrate it amongst the inexperienced and the exceptional. I thrive working with a team as well as independently and hold myself accountable to the highest degree of integrity. I’m confident my unique perspective and experience in left-leaning and progressive policies will help shift opinions of liberals and "fence sitters” who may not be receptive to other messaging about republican, libertarian, and traditional American philosophies.
 Sincerely, Nicholas T. Clark
