GOP Jobs, As a dedicated student of politics and passionate advocate of the America First agenda, I am excited about the potential to contribute to furthering Republican policy in Washington. As a current staffer on the House Committee on Rules, I want to put myself forward as a prospective staffer for Congressional and Administration openings. Working as a staff assistant on the House Committee on Rules has enabled me to experience the complex amendment process and political considerations necessary for legislation to reach the floor. Broadening my understanding of Hill processes and how best to navigate Washington’s nuances. I believe this experience serves as a strong stepping stone for further political positions. My academic pursuits at Texas A&M cultivated a strong political, historical, and scientific background, fostering a keen understanding of the legislative process. During my tenure as Chairman of the Legislative Relations Committee of the Texas A&M Student Senate, I spearheaded efforts to expand open education resources, reform core curriculum requirements, and save students’ money by cutting wasteful university spending. Working on Congressman McCaul's re-election campaign and at Potomac Strategy Group, I gained valuable insights into grassroots organizing, media strategies, and institutional engagement. These experiences sharpened my analytical skills, reinforced the importance of strategic messaging, and further solidified my passion for political advocacy and public service. I believe my experience and populist passion are a perfect fit for Republican offices, especially my interest in energy, immigration, economics, appropriations, and judicial issues. Enclosed is my resume for your review. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how my skills and passion align with the America First vision. Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to the possibility of contributing to the Republican Majority’s vital work. Please do not hesitate to contact me at your convenience. Sincerely, Patrick Englehart
