In my current and previous roles as a Media Relations Specialist, I have been responsible for researching and developing PR assets, drafting and distributing pitches, booking media, and creating weekly tracking documents for client reporting. I have worked closely with industry influencers to secure media coverage, fostering relationships with top producers and editors across national print and broadcast outlets. This experience has honed my ability to craft compelling narratives and build long-lasting media relationships. I have a proven track record of securing media coverage and managing PR campaigns for a diverse range of clients, including congressional candidates, tech leaders, and non-profits such as US Inventor, which advocates for pro-inventor intellectual property laws. Additionally, I have worked with public figures like Riley Gaines, a former collegiate athlete advocating against policies allowing men to compete in women’s sports. In 2021, I led a rally in Fort Worth, Texas, protesting COVID-19 and vaccine mandates. After a live reading of a letter I wrote to America on Twitter, I collaborated with Americans nationwide to organize a unified message to Washington, standing against medical overreach. In 2022, I co-organized a rally against an all-ages drag bingo event in Katy, Texas, where hundreds of Americans gathered to peacefully protest while proudly waving the American flag. Over the past five years, I have built a strong network within the national media and political landscape. My experience in relationship-building with both the media and legislators would be an asset to any organization seeking a seasoned media relations professional to enhance their media relations efforts and amplify their message.
