Dear Hiring Manager, The skills I have developed in pursuing my degree as a Political Science major fits the company’s needs, and I would love to utilize these skills to cultivate the goals of the company. Throughout my experience at Oakland University, I have developed refined organizational, self-disciplinary, and communication skills. As a Political Science major with a minor in Business my course work compelled me to develop and improve upon clear and effective communication and analytical thinking skills. While enrolled full time at Oakland University, I have been able to remain active on-campus, as apart of two honors societies and three clubs. As the initiate advisor of Phi Sigma Pi, I oversaw and executed recruitment process; created a public relations plan for the year and successfully increased recruitment quota from 20 new members to 40 new members for the upcoming year.
