Cygnal, a leading Republican polling and analytics firm based in Arlington, VA, is looking for a dynamic Special Assistant to work with our President and keep everything running smoothly.

As the right-hand organizer and executor, you will be the backbone of our President’s day-to-day operations. From managing calendars and communications to coordinating travel and juggling multiple projects, you’ll be the power behind the throne—ensuring efficiency, precision, and productivity. Key Responsibilities:

• Quarterback projects for the President.

• Maximize the President’s time by expertly managing his schedule and ensuring meetings are effective and efficient.

• Triage emails in near real-time, addressing tasks proactively so the President can focus on high-priority matters.

• Manage VIP relationships, providing an exceptional experience with every interaction.

• Coordinate and adjust travel plans, ensuring seamless arrangements.

• Organize meeting reservations and logistics with precision.

• Handle a high volume of requests simultaneously, executing tasks accurately and on time.

• Conduct research and provide clear, concise results quickly.

• Manage the CRM and assist in sales support activities.

• Balance a dozen or more ongoing tasks without stress or losing attention to detail.

• Assist with personal tasks to ensure the President can focus on clients, the team, and growing the organization.

• Provide daily updates on ongoing and upcoming responsibilities to ensure smooth operations.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of political campaign experience.

• Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Already based in the Arlington, VA area.

• Exceptional computer skills and expertise with Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to execute tasks quickly and efficiently.

• Excellent typing skills and proficiency in online research.

• Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks.

• A quick learner who adapts rapidly and takes feedback in stride.

• Self-confident with the ability to ask questions and provide input, even challenging processes when necessary.

• Ability to manage relationships with driven, fast-moving individuals.

• Internal motivation to achieve results quickly and efficiently.

• Mental resilience to prioritize and meet tight deadlines under pressure.

• Flexibility to work weekends or non-traditional hours as needed.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range $87,000 - $96,000 DOE.
