Associate Attorney | Law Firm | Central Texas/South Austin, Texas

• Conduct legal research on property and business law topics
• Working in mostly business and sometimes political litigation
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings and motions
• Negotiate settlements with opposing parties and counsel
• Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings
• Collaborate with partners on complex legal cases
• Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations
• Maintain accurate case files and billing records
• Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school 0-3 years of legal experience
  • Admitted to the Texas Bar or awaiting Bar results
  • Experience or coursework in litigation preferred
  • xcellent legal research and writing skills
  • Effective negotiation and persuasive communication abilities
  • Commitment to work in Bastrop, TX, from 8-5 PM
  • Willingness to relocate to Bastrop before starting
• Salary: 100-120k+ based on experience + benefits
