Director of Membership Programs

Purpose My Faith Votes is looking for an experienced professional to serve as our Director of Membership Programs. The Director will be responsible for providing opportunities for support for current and future donors. This role will oversee the direct mail, online fundraising and prospecting program and will guide other My Faith Votes communications and marketing products to help build donor relationships. The Director will be a thoughtful leader and strategic thinker who can translate big-picture vision to implementable plans, understanding how to inspire donors to be a part of the My Faith Votes Mission to encourage all Christians to vote. Responsibilities

• Direct the organization’s strategy for direct mail, prospecting and email campaigns to low and mid-level donors. • Advise and support organizational marketing efforts to build strong relationships and vision alignment with current and future donors.

• Oversee strategies to grow the mailing, email and SMS reach of the organization.

• Support fundraising objectives with the development of marketing resources (Case for Support, Annual Report, Budget Sheets, Video Production and more).

• Provide oversight and direction to key vendors and partners representing the My Faith Votes brand.

• Create and maintain processes to ensure institutional memory and continued best practices for donor communications.

Job Qualifications & Requirements Is a born-again believer of Jesus Christ and maintains faithful fellowship with other believers (Hebrews 10:25); maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of My Faith Votes; exhibits integrity in professional and personal life; upholds My Faith Votes’ ministry in prayer.

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field, or equivalent and demonstrated experience required.

• Five-plus years' experience in fundraising, donors' communications, direct mail, online fundraising and/or advertising with a proven record of success within a non-profit, business, or political campaign.

• A strong understanding of the latest digital fundraising and marketing strategies and tactics.

• Effective interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication abilities.

• Experience managing external vendors and contractors.

• Proven expertise in fundraising.

• Creative thinker and strong attention to detail.

• Must have a passion for the core mission and values of My Faith Votes.

• Follower of Christ who can support My Faith Votes’ Statement of Faith.
