Frontend Engineer

Republican Jobs is leading the search for a Frontend Engineer on behalf of a fast-growing political technology company based in Washington, D.C. This is a high-impact role for a frontend developer who wants to build tools that shape elections, advocacy, and the future of digital politics.

The ideal candidate has experience with React and TypeScript, a strong eye for design, and thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

What You'll Do:

● Develop and maintain high-performance, responsive web applications using React and TypeScript

● Collaborate with designers to build visually appealing and accessible UI components

● Optimize performance and ensure smooth, intuitive user experiences

● Translate complex data into user-friendly dashboards and workflows

● Maintain and evolve a centralized design system for UI consistency

● Ensure accessibility standards and best practices are met

● Mentor junior engineers and contribute to an inclusive team culture

What We're Looking For:

● 4+ years of experience with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend stacks

● Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and performance optimization

● Experience with Tailwind, styled-components, or other CSS-in-JS frameworks

● Ability to turn Figma designs into pixel-perfect interfaces

● Comfort handling data visualization and complex datasets

● Strong problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments

● Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams

Salary & Benefits:

$100,000–$200,000 depending on experience, plus performance bonuses and a full benefits

package (medical, 401k, etc.)
