A growing team is looking for a Survey Research Analyst to support extensive survey projects
spanning various topics, including politics, consumer behavior, and societal trends. The team
conducts over 500,000 interviews annually and uses innovative research methods and
proprietary databases to inform strategic decisions across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
● Use R tools to process, transform, and weight survey datasets.
● Query sample data, quotas, and metadata using SQL and in-house tools.
● Develop and adjust R scripts for importing, cleaning, and integrating survey data into
databases.
● Perform statistical analysis, including regressions and clustering, on survey datasets.
● Summarize and present survey insights in clear, actionable reports for stakeholders.
● Automate data workflows with custom R packages and functions.
● Collaborate with teammates to enhance research techniques and internal systems.
Basic Qualifications:
● At least 2 years of experience in survey research.
● Skilled in R, with a focus on survey data analysis and weighting.
● Proficient in SQL, including querying large-scale databases.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in fields such as statistics, political science, or related areas.
● Ability to translate complex research findings into simple, actionable insights.
● Interest or background in political campaigns or public policy.
● Experience using Git for version control.
● Familiarity with AWS tools like S3, Batch, or Lambda.
● Knowledge of R Shiny development is a bonus.
