Job Summary: As a Senior Video Editor, Political, you will play a pivotal role in our team, working on political advertisements that drive debate and help our clients achieve their campaign goals. You will be responsible for editing high-quality video content, combining various elements such as footage, graphics, music, and more to tell compelling stories.

Key Responsibilities: Edit high-level video content to effectively convey messages for political clients. Take video briefs and scripts through the entire editing process, from conceptualization to final deliverables. Create impactful stories that resonate with the target audience and contribute to the success of political campaigns. Utilize strong visual storytelling skills to quickly assemble edits and implement feedback from producers and team leads. Transform footage from various sources, including shoots and mobile video, into engaging and shareable content. Produce videos optimized for social media platforms, including vertical and square formats with mobile delivery in mind. Collaborate closely with the Creative Team to brainstorm concepts and script ideas. Ingest, log, and organize shot footage for post-production workflows. Manage project storage, ensuring adherence to organization standards and implementing proper backups. Understand clients' project objectives and bring them to life through your editing skills. Maintain high production values and standards across all platforms.

Qualifications: 4-7 years of relevant experience in video editing. High Proficiency in video editing, color grading, motion graphics, sound design, and video compression codecs. Expertise in Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects is essential. Working knowledge of other Adobe Creative Cloud software such as Photoshop and Illustrator. Familiarity with color grading programs like DaVinci Resolve is a plus. While not required, familiarity with political clients or political issues is preferred. Ability to manage multiple editing projects simultaneously. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities. High motivation and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, campaign-style environment. Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a creative team.
